Located on Hallenstein Street is a 12-room property offering guest rooms from studios through to three bedroom villa apartments.  

A feature of the property are elevated views of ‘downtown’ Queenstown and Lake Whakatipu. Guests enjoy a gourmet breakfast.  In the evening hosted wines and canapes are offered (both inclusive in the room rate) with other guests before dining in town at one of Queenstown’s many restaurants.

(2) King/Twin Rooms (22.5sqm): King or twin beds either featuring a lake view or French doors onto an outdoor patio. Rooms feature ensuite bathrooms. These rooms provide an area for your baggage, a TV, fridge/freezer and tea and coffee making facilities.

(2) Superior Twin/Family Room (31sqm): Ideal accommodation for two or three people or family with young children. With gorgeous lake and mountain views. Bedroom with king-size bed, adjoining room with double bed or twin beds sharing a modern ensuite. This room provides an area to hang your clothes, a TV, a fridge/freezer and tea and coffee making facilities.

(3) Lakeview Studio Rooms (26sqm): Sensational lake views from this spacious studio with King or Twin beds with doors opening onto private, outdoor, furnished deck or patio. This studio provides extra space for luggage and an area to hang your clothes, a TV, a fridge/freezer and tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms offer large ensuite bathrooms with underfloor heating.

Folding doors from the bedroom and living space also open onto a balcony with spectacular views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains.

Queenstown House - Luxury Lakeside Apartments on Lake Esplanade

This property was fully renovated and opened in June 2021. It features five fully self-contained guest rooms and a Penthouse. 

Range from 2 x studio (1 wheelchair accessible unit/ground floor) to 3 x one-bedroom apartments. Plus, on the top floor is a two-bedroom penthouse, also available for hire.  

No expense was spared when it came to the refurbishment programme and the furniture was customised to suit the spaces.   Guest rooms all have views across the lake and those on the first floor have balcony/conservatory spaces.
