A major refurbishment project is now underway at Edgewater with construction contractors in April commencing work focused on one-third of the hotel’s guest rooms.

The refurbishment of the guest rooms will involve:

• the introduction of air-conditioning units in all rooms,

• double glazing of the windows,

• bathroom revamp – including removal of baths and tiling of new shower area,

• installation of energy-efficient LED lighting, new joinery, furniture and interior styling throughout.

The refurbished rooms will be available for stays from 1 December 2023.

Albatross Travel have a new addition in their fleet

A four-seater luxurious Hiace GrandAce premium van.

The addition of this vehicle means that small groups of four can be accommodated and sits in between the existing two seater Audi and six-seater V class Mercedes.
